Screenwriter Success Commitment

When I started this company, I wanted to make this an open door to emerging screenwriters because I know how hard it is to break in. It’s frustrating and can make a cynic out of any of us. This isn’t just a platform for writers to connect on a professional level and to improve, it’s a place where movies get developed, financed, produced, and that’s exactly what we’ve been doing. We don’t just provide one step in the right direction, we have the whole staircase. We’ve gotten writers produced and paying gigs, and it’s based on the 6 pillars of the screenwriter success commitment:

  1. Collaboration: We’re committed to always using emerging screenwriters for ongoing developments, both in-house developments that our producing partners are hiring us to develop, or hired gigs that are brought to us from 3rd This is a place for opportunity in an industry where opportunity is hard to grasp onto, but through collaboration we improve, we build relationships, involve our screenwriters, and we ensure your success and the success of projects because we believe in the power of collaboration.
  2. Our Movie Making Mission: We aim to bring the best screenplays in our network to the market and push to get it made. That means your screenplays are our slate of projects. Why do you think we provide the most thorough evolutions on the market from the best development minds? It’s because our goal is bigger. Like you, we want to make movies and we want to do it with you.
  3. Honesty: we are an honest resource that shows how to navigate and break into the industry using creative strategy and an intelligent approach to script development. In the industry today, there’s a lot of “coverage” that is full of fluff to retain business. That’s something you’re not going to get here. We give it to you straight so that you can expedite your journey and bring awareness to your script and talent in the quickest way possible. It requires a stomach for the truth – which is hard for some – but it works.
  4. Communication: To help our community grow we are big on communication. Through live Q&As, we bring answers to your pressing questions regularly through contact with producers like myself. On top of that, we want to always let you know where your script stands and if you’ve reached that threshold where you script is popping, we get in contact with you. In our community, we are paying attention, and we regularly speak to our screenwriting base in group formats and on a one-to-one basis.
  5. Quality: we not only bring on the best development minds, but we train them heavily. Our commitment to you is to never let up on that. We cannot and will not sacrifice the quality of our professional evaluations for the sake of getting more output. There’s a lot of companies that “mass read” by hiring anyone from anywhere. Our developers are screened heavily and go through a grueling training process. I can promise you this… our approach to storytelling is shared by every developer so you know what you’re getting. You’ll never submit a script twice and get two completely different reactions because our team has culture and our philosophy aligns. That leads nicely into our final pillar:
  6. Philosophy: We huddle around a philosophy that places a premium on character development and certain tenets of storytelling. This is evident through our evaluations. When you develop with us, you know what you’re going to get. If you submit more than once, you’ll get some varying assessments (that’s natural) but the core fundamental notes will be similar because our philosophy is embedded in the DNA of the company. You’re going to get the perspective of a character-centric development team that believes in the power of classical dramatic structure. We want to turn your script into an attractive investment for investors and distributors and our philosophy is guided by that principle. It’s how we know to get movies financed and made.

I hope by now you have a clearer picture of who we are and how we’re committed to your success. It’s what we do and how we do it that what makes us unique. If you find this the least bit intriguing, get started with us for free and take advantage of our screenplay development toolkit, with a free logline, outline, and scene generator (something I’ve used to take a concept and turn it into a logline and outline in 30 minutes flat).
